The Future Of Hanworth Park House
The Friends of Hanworth Park House are working with all stakeholders, the current owner; Gary Cottle and Hounslow Council to secure the regeneration of the house, and to secure access for community use, including a museum to tell the story of this amazing place and surrounding area.
FoHPH hope to use the public community spaces within and around the house for a variety of uses including arts and crafts, café, heritage trails along the Longford river, education programme for youth and adults, weddings, conference hire, landscape gardens, play grounds, outside events, and much more. Funding for this would be secured by ‘enabling development’ around the site, as well as potentially additional funding from other charities or funders.
Update 25/04/2021
The London Borough of Hounslow and AGC Property Limited are developing a joint proposal for the restoration of Hanworth Park House supported by new private and council homes in its surrounding. The purpose of this resident engagement is to get initial feedback from the local community in order to shape the evolving proposals. Hanworth Park House is a privately owned Grade II Listed building. The house has been left empty for over 25 years and is in very poor condition and at serious risk of collapse. The current owners of the house, AGC Property Limited, have been working with the council to progress a joint planning application to enable restoration of the house. The proposal will deliver a conservation led restoration and refurbishment of the Grade II Listed House, as well as regeneration and opening up to the public the surrounding overgrown Green Belt woodland. The proposal offers a range of ecological, heritage and community benefits to the broader Hanworth Park. The new homes will be designed to be highly energy efficient, incorporating sustainability principles in line with Council’s Climate Emergency Action Plan.

The Owner of Hanworth Park House AGC and Hounslow council held its public consultation in the spring of 2021. This was the biggest consultation feedback seen in the council's history for any development. This shows that the public interest is large and the results of this consultation are below..
